Cookin' Men Sizzles!!!

On March 28, 2009, The Lakeland Regional Medical Center Foundation’s Women in Philanthropy Giving Society was proud to present a new fundraising event to the Lakeland community called Cookin’ Men.
This unusual event featured the culinary talents of local volunteer chefs, cooking up their specialties to raise funds for women’s and children’s services at Lakeland Regional Medical Center and Lakeland Regional Cancer Center.
With an attendance of over 500 guests, Cookin’ Men 2009 was undoubtedly a casual evening of culinary fun. Chefs served up delicious offerings from Buffalo Meat Balls to Louisiana Pork Roast to Peanut Butter Lollipops in a decorative and appetizing way.
The “Pink Panache Award” for the best decorated booth was presented to Matthew Cantrall who served “Redneck Caviar Dip” in a very creative manner! Plans are already underway for Cookin’ Men 2010 to be held on Saturday, March 20, 2010!!
